Contract Wizard - Snapshot
The Contract Wizard is a comprehensive contract drafting tool which may be configured to cover multiple contracts types, formats and jurisdictions.
Draft contract documents can be delivered in different formats for different users. Read-only PDF lowers the risk of last minute changes; while DOCX/ RTF mean drafting can be completed using any word processor. All documents can be generated in a preferred XML format, making it very easy to share key dates, milestones and other data with contract management and other enterprise systems.
The Contract Wizard operates on a simple 3 step process:
- Qualification
A rule based system to establish which contract is appropriate for the specific circumstances.
- Drafting
A form based dialog to elicit variable content fields from the user and apply contract "rules" that determine optional clause inclusion or exclusion (drafting notes and support material can be associated with each stage of the drafting process).
- Publishing
The merging of variable content within a contract document template, publish and document download or system e-mail to the end-user functionality. Microsoft Word, PDF or HTML formatted documents supported.

Setup
Contract Wizard is web-based and requires no end user software other than a web browser and a copy of Microsoft Word installed. Some setup customisation is required for each client, e.g. client branding, loading of resources and template setup and administrator and user access etc. After set up the system is self-managed.
Contract Wizard may be run ‘in-house’ if required.
Technologies
Microsoft Active Server Page (ASP) application with an Microsoft SQL Server database.
Document generation is performed on the user’s computer via Microsoft Word automation.
