Brent was professor of law at University of Sydney (1985-1995), and a partner at Gilbert+Tobin for 9 years from 1995.

Martin Samociuk, Hibis Group

Martin Samociuk is a practitioner in fraud risk management with an emphasis on proactive prevention and detection. He has extensive practical experience in this field and is the content author for the Fraud Awareness program.

Martin has co-authored Fraud and Corruption: Prevention and Detection and Fraud Resistance: a Practical Guide, and is a contributing author to The Protection of Computer Software: Technology and Applications and The Computer Security Reference Book.

ComplianceNet is also responsible for the design and development as well as technical and user support for the Guardian Online Training System. Established by the Industry Working Group on Quarantine (IWGQ) to serve members of the customs broking, freight forwarding and associated industries in the imported cargo logistic chain, Guardian provides cost effective training improving industry knowledge and skills about the activities of the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS).
